Where we are
The Principe di Lampedusa Boutique Hotel is located within the Arab-Norman route and is a starting point for exploring the entire historic center of Palermo on foot.
From the Hotel you can easily reach on foot and in a few minutes both Corso Vittorio Emanuele and Via Maqueda, the main road junction.
Along these two axes and the side streets that branch off, there are splendid noble palaces and the main monuments: the Royal Palace with the Palatine Chapel, the Cathedral, the Martorana, Piazza Pretoria, the Teatro Massimo and the Teatro Politeama. The major museums are also within walking distance: the Gallery of Modern Art, the Salinas Museum and the Palazzo Abatellis, but also suggestive places such as the Spasimo and the Kalsa area.
The two ancient markets of the city: the Ballarò market and the Vucciria market. The shopping streets are also a few minutes’ walk away: Via Ruggero Settimo and Via Libertà.

From the airport
From the Falcone-Borsellino airport, follow the A29 motorway towards Palermo/Mazara del Vallo, exit at Via Belgio, continue along Via A. De Gasperi, then all the way down Via Libertà until you reach Via Roma, turn right onto Via Malta, then you will reach Piazza Cassa di Risparmio. Distance 32 km, 43 min.
From the station
From Palermo Centrale station, take Via Roma and continue for 550 m, turn right and take Via Grande Lattarini. Distance 800 m, 11 min on foot.
By car
– A19 Catania-Palermo, exit Viale delle Scienze, direction center.
– A20 Messina-Palermo, exit Buonfornello (after Cefalù) join A19.
– A29 Trapani-Palermo, exit Via Belgio, direction center.
From the port
Take Via F. Crispi, turn right into Via Cavour then left into Via Roma, after about 750 meters turn left into Via Malta, then you will reach Piazza Cassa di Risparmio. Distance 2.7 km, 6 min by car.
